ATRIDE is where respiratory science meets intelligent design. From our R&D base within the NCSR Demokritos innovation ecosystem and through access to leading European innovation environments, including the Eindhoven Innovation Campus, we are building a new category of wearable health technology: Breathing Intelligence™.

Our work brings together smart textiles, stretchable electronics, AI-driven analytics and human-centred medical design. In collaboration with elite universities, clinical researchers and advanced technology partners across Europe, we transform complex physiological signals into meaningful real-world insight — turning breathing into a continuous source of intelligence for healthcare, telecare and human performance.
Recognised with two European Seals of Excellence and supported through a major i³ Innovation programme under the DIGILUNG project, ATRIDE is not simply developing another wearable. We are creating the infrastructure for a future where the lungs can be monitored, understood and supported beyond the walls of the clinic.
HEALTH REIMAGINED
Project DigiLung under I3 instrument
DIGILUNG aims to establish a comprehensive innovation ecosystem that fosters the widespread adoption of digital health solutions for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Beyond empowering patients to manage their COPD, DIGILUNG will generate a range of positive spillover effects, including increased productivity, reduced healthcare costs, and new data streams applicable to various fields.
The project's interregional approach will encourage collaboration and knowledge exchange among regions at different stages of development, creating a replicable model for digital healthcare innovation across the EU.
